From August 1st to 3rd, Menu Extra is setting up shop at Ferme des Quatre-Temps to offer you a dining experience right in its fields. With a carefully curated tasting menu featuring locally grown produce, the pop-up restaurant opens its doors for lunch and dinner, marking the harvest season. It's a chance to experience the earth at its best.

Conceived as a tribute to the terroir, the eight-course menu, accompanied by carefully chosen pairings, showcases the farm's flagship ingredients, such as horned tomatoes, garlic flowers, pasture-raised beef, and Japanese cucumbers. Each dish reflects a meeting of two complementary expertise: that of Ferme des Quatre-Temps, which cultivates with rigor and respect for the living, and that of Menu Extra, which translates this raw material into precise and inspired gourmet cuisine. Agricultural know-how is expressed in the exceptional quality of the products, picked according to the seasons, while the culinary talent of Menu Extra transforms them with impeccable technicality to reveal their full depth.

Since its founding, Menu Extra has developed a culinary approach based almost exclusively on the use of local, seasonal produce. The team maintains a direct relationship with local artisans, allowing them to work with ingredients of exceptional quality and bring out their full richness. This close relationship with producers is at the heart of their approach: cooking also means cultivating a keen understanding of the environment and those who shape it.


Between the rows of crops, a large communal table sits around a long, narrow garden inspired by the surrounding landscape and created especially for the occasion. The setting, both discreet and meticulous, combines the organic texture of Pascale Girardin's ceramics with metallic accents. The tableware is punctuated with brushed steel incursions reminiscent of the contemporary sculpture that watches over the land: a nod to the owners' artistic sensibility. At dusk, the canopy covering the large table lights up in orange tones. This delicate composition creates an experience that leaves plenty of room for the food.

Since 2022, Ferme des Quatre-Temps has incorporated more than 30 new varieties of winter vegetables into its production, pushing the boundaries of what it means to eat locally in a northern climate. This research and diversification work redefines our relationship with Quebec's terroir and opens up new culinary perspectives. By partnering with the farm, Menu Extra pays tribute to this agricultural innovation through a gastronomic experience that celebrates this more sustainable vision of food.
