Menu Extra x Cabaret l'Enfer

The favorite time of chefs, foodies, and tulips is upon us; spring has sprung!

On May 25th and 26th only, some twenty people will have the chance to taste an eight-course menu paired with precious wines. To celebrate the inauguration of this vibrant season, we are honored to join forces with a restaurant with which we have a strong bond of fraternity - Le Cabaret l'Enfer.

Indeed, the relationship between Francis, Alexis and Massimo Piedimonte blossomed for several years in the kitchen of the restaurant Le Mousso. During this formative moment, the trio pushed the boundaries of culinary creativity, love, hospitality and the sense of teamwork. After this intense episode, Francis and Alexis created Menu Extra while Massimo gave birth to his dream project, the restaurant Cabaret l'Enfer.

The restaurant run by chef Massimo Piedimonte opened its doors in 2021 on Saint-Denis Street with a clear goal: to provide a gastronomic and decadent experience to its guests. Massimo is a complete chef, combining several international internships (notably at Noma) with his Italian roots. His precise and relaxed approach makes him one of the most interesting cooks in Montreal.

What a pleasure to have this legendary chef back with us and to relive great moments of camaraderie. We couldn’t have found a better backdrop for this reunion than the beginning of spring, with its arrivals of asparagus, peas, morels, lobster and more.

And who says celebration, also says good wine! You will have the opportunity to taste exceptional vintages from Dagueneau in the Loire, from the Labet estate in the Jura and from Rinaldi in Piedmont. We will also have several other nice surprises from our cellar to serve you.
