Before talking about the estate and the wine, we must introduce Steve Beauséjour, a legendary winemaker in Montreal. Steve is one of the first to unearth more artistic, more natural winemakers around the globe to represent them in Quebec. His work as a representative and sommelier has allowed many, including myself, to offer precise and interesting wines to the province's gourmets. A few years ago, his career led him to the Bauge vineyard, where he joined forces with Simon Naud, a viticulture expert. This wine is a blend of macerated Frontenac Noir and Frontenac Gris; the aromas of mauve fruits are carried by a lively freshness.
